China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station, CA - Gate Hours, Map and Status

There are four gates at China Lake NAWS. The Main and Lauritsen Gates are both open 24 hours, daily. The Sandquist Gate is open 0500-1800, M-Thu and closed during all holidays to include Flex Fridays. The Richmond Gate, also known as the Back Gate, is open three times a day, M-F: 0500-0900, 1100-1300 and 1400-1800, except on holidays when it is closed.
